What excites you most about your role in The Christmas Witch Movie?
I am excited for Cerridwen to learn more about herself and her daughter. I love roles that highlight complex women who come to discover their own strength and abilities. I can relate to her in many ways. I am also excited to live in a world where I can experience magic and view everything differently than I had before. A new reality has opened up and you question everything--that's both frightening and exhilarating!
If you could choose any type of magic to wield, what would it be and why?
Good question! I would want the power to immediately both understand and speak any language whenever I wanted. I think communication and understanding context can both prevent and solve so many unnecessary problems. It would also be fantastic when traveling around the world and making new friends which I love to do!
What is your favorite Christmas or holiday tradition?
We visit our families in Tennessee at Christmas to enjoy time with grandparents, siblings, and cousins. I have to have a Terry's chocolate orange to smack apart at Christmas or it just doesn't feel complete--I'm pretty sure my sister feels the same way! I also love decorating our tree. All of our ornaments signify memories--places we've been, special interests, accomplishments, symbols of people in our family, and older inherited ornaments from family. They feel very random as a group of objects but when they are together on the tree it is cohesive, personal, lush, and beautiful. It just works.
