The Story
Jessi is struggling with comparisonitis in the world of social media. Other women her age just seem to "have it all," while she is frustrated over her job at the local movie theater and drowning in student-loan debt. Losing her job after a bad breakup, Jessi desperately needs a Christmas miracle if she's going to make it through this holiday season.
What she finds instead is something better — a shift in perspective, a rediscovery of what she actually has, and the kind of Christmas that can only happen when you stop scrolling long enough to look up.
Inspired by It's a Wonderful Life and rooted in the struggles people face today with social media — which can be both a positive and a negative thing — Hashtag Blessed is a holiday film that feels genuinely of this moment.
