The Wind of Heaven
Some wounds don't show. Some battles don't end when the soldier comes home.
The Wind of Heaven is a powerful, deeply human drama about a young veteran searching for the man he was before war took him apart โ and the unlikely guide who helps him find his way back.
The Story
When Marine officer Cole Morgan returns home from Afghanistan, the war comes with him.
Cole's mother hopes he'll step into his late father's shoes and take the reins of their prosperous cattle ranch. But Cole can barely make it through a single day without the past pulling him under. Flashbacks. Trauma. A prescription bottle that feels more like a slow surrender than a solution. He has seen where that road leads for too many men like him โ and he refuses to walk it.
Then Cole meets Lewis Two Eagles, a Native American veteran who carries his own history and his own hard-won wisdom. Together, the two men embark on an uncertain journey inward โ into the darkest places Cole has been avoiding โ in search of the soul that combat stole away.
The Wind of Heaven is a film about what it costs to serve, what it costs to survive, and what it means to finally, truly come home.

Why This Story
Veteran suicide. PTSD. The invisible war that follows soldiers home. These are not abstract statistics โ they are the stories of real people who served and came back changed, often without the tools or community to find their way through.
The Wind of Heaven doesn't look away from that reality. It walks straight into it โ with honesty, with cultural depth, and with the kind of grace that only comes from a story told with genuine care. This is exactly the kind of film DarMar was built to make. A Movie with Meaning in the truest sense.
